It's summer time, and as the song goes, "the living is easy." But in these tough economic times, that's not the case for many workers. Martha recently joined Boston's FOX25 Morning News to talk about ways to network during the summer and make life a little easier.
There are a lot of dads who have lost their jobs. For the men who are still employed, many are feeling added pressures due to outdated labels such as "provider" or "bread winner." While the labels are archaic, they still represent roles that many fathers and husbands carry around with them, a heavy burden. For other men, these roles are changing. Martha shares her insights on the changing role of fathers.

You've seen a lot of information about job hunting and surviving a layoff, but what about the workers who are left behind? The individuals who still have their jobs, but are working twice as hard to make up for the loss of their colleagues. There's been a lot of research on this topic, and many use the term "survivor's syndrome" to describe those post-layoff workers, who often experience similar symptoms to those who have endured a traumatic event or loss.
